Final update on my 90day challenge

nothing really big to update... i am just putting an end to my Jan-Mar 90day challenge.... 


i will be starting a new one!!! for April-June that is...haha!

anyways, here is a recap of what i achieved after all the project meltdown during the 2nd and 3rd months... still not bad right??? (just trying to convince myself here actually hehe)

well, let's keep the positive point of view in everything shall we? 
  • 14lbs is still 14lbs! that's more than 6kilos! (isang paopao na!!)
  • 4.5" and 6" off the waist and hips gave me another chance to fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes again!!!

i did not take a last photo because there's no difference anyway... but will do for the start of my new 90days (hehe i'm a cheater that way hehehe)


also, i will be blogging less here in Chamimay on Flats... will be blogging almost all the time in Promding Chamimay... so anybody following here but not in Promding Chamimay I hope you could follow me there too... :-)

my new hairstyle: Cybersport

well... that's the name the hairstylist told me... he'll transform my long lifeless hair into this cybersport of a hairstyle... i was intrigued so i gave him a go... :-)

i just relied on his stories about the hair during the cutting but googled it once i had my hands on my lappy... my hair's supposed to look something like this hehehe... minus the coloring (i dont want to color or treat my hair in any way, i wanna keep it virgin for as long as i can hehehe)

so here's how it looks on me.... nyaha! major fail ba? :-) at least fierce looking pa rin! bwaha! i can't seem to reconcile my hair now with the should be cybersport style...hehehe but anyways i know shorter hair suits me waaaaay better than long hair... i actually want to have it cut (almost pixie hair short), but i'll let this Cybersport thingy stay for a few months then i might have another chopping session. :-)

i just couldn't take my hair anymore.... :-) can no longer wait for the 130lbs before chopping it off as promised... that's still some 17lbs away! hehehehe talk about low EQ and that's me lately!!!

jog highligts (Jan30-Feb29)

eto ata ang last jog ni joel... hehehe sayang ang effort mo dude!!! kelangang ituloy! 

eto ang last jog before the Philhealth run... eto rin ang last jog before a whopping 2week binge-no-jog natin... 

the moon was really really pretty that night.... parang early morning lang ang peg. :-) the full moon made the jog more fun kasi nakikita namin ang isa't isa after sundown... :D

after 2weeks and a lot of good and nasty things in between... kami na lang ang natirang ngjojog... maraming ngbago... the drive slowed down din unlike January...pero it's still better to try starting over di ba... :-)

there was a major cloud show that day... from the near sunset, to sunset, to twilight... pang finale ang moon-jupiter-venus alignment at twilight (see lower-middle photo)

and looky! im able to wear that jogging pants again!!! just about a month ago i cant barely pull it up beyond my knees! *kilig kilig hehehehe

this is kuya ronald's cram attempt to practice before the ultra vinta run... hehehe
and its back to just me and leo again...

nice to have them back on the extra day of Feb... :-) let's bring back the momentum this march!

day60 update: 13lbs lang...

i've only lost 3lbs in February, waaaay behind my 10lb target...

....and that's because my February is ONE MAJOR CHEAT MONTH!!!! barely jogged, ate a lot (may rice pa!).... well 3lbs is still better than nothing at all or worse gain back a few lbs... hehehe excuses!!!

...and that leaves me with 22lbs to lose this March to reach my 35lbs in 90days challenge... kaya to!!! mindpower!!!! :-)

peterpan collar love

i love peterpan-collared dresses/tops... pero im a bit hesitant to try it kasi baka di bagay sa akin... now that iv tried it.... am soooo gonna be into it! :D


and vanity suddenly wants to hang out with me again... :D why am i doing these outfit posts again? am not really the dressy kinda girl but heck i guess i just wanna document my lame attempts to dress up.... :-) 


looking at this set to choose which photos to post, i had thought about these things:

1. my hair looks soooo awful already.... i had it growing just like that since Dec2010! yikes! but i made a pact not to cut it til im back at my pre-pregnancy weight... urgh! that's 60 more days!

2. i guess i need to learn to play with makeups again... at least powder and lipstick i guess... i look so pale! hahaha parang sa tabi tabi lang ang punta... :D 

3. if i really want this outfit blogging to live longer i need to train hubby take prettier photos... he's a good photog but he's not getting my idea of "outfit blog-worthy" photos yet....... :D

4. need to get that wacky groove again and make more fun poses (nyaha! effort much? :D)

5. ..... why am i doing this again? :D hehehehe

day30 update: 10lbs na!!!

tama! iv hit my 10lb target for my first 30days!!! cguro naman mejo may difference na... hehehe used the same dress para wala ng masabi si Juvee na dinadaan ko lang sa damit (seen here.... :D hehehehe (cant wait for March1, thats day60 na... will try to use the same set of clothes - urgh! had i known i will be doing this i should have chosen better clothes hehehe)

yey for 4lbs!!!

finally!!! masasabi ko na talangang i've lost 4lbs!!! my weighing scale seemed to be undecided for the past days... hehehe but now it constantly gives me 4-5lbs off! hehehe i've also tried to weigh in from the scale where i get my preggy weight monthly and then from another scale... and they're all consistent! 

and wait.. there's more! uulitin ko i dropped 4lbs... and i also lost 2inches off the belly button part (mali atang eto ang mineasure ko for the waist) and 4inches off the hip part!!!

i can scream my heart out now... right??? right??? hehehe but still looooong way to go! i'm supposed to lose 10-12lbs/month until March 31... still keeping my fingers crossed and my sense of discipline... i hope i won't lose it.... :-) 45days to go!!! 

you bet it was 4lbs!!!

using somebody else's jersey hehe mejo tight pa yung akin... :D cguro by Feb i can wear it na without looking like suman. :D

i just have to add this pic... i wasn't able to capture how grand this actually look like.... im a clouds and stars and sky person, small things like this makes me stop and breath it in.... spent 6minutes tuloy to finish one round instead of just 3 hehehe

my "pampapayat" tools!!!

the challenge: lose 35lbs and 12inches (worth of waist) in only 90days!!! 

was able to do something like this back in 2008... but that was just losing my baby fat (plus the fat from all the sitting at work, starbucks fraps, and coke with flat tops merienda!)... this time i guess it'll be harder... well that's what most people say, its more difficult to lose pregnancy accumulated fats... i hope it won't be that stubborn for me... :-)

start date: January 2, 2012
end date: March 31, 2012

beginning lbs: 160
target lbs: 125 (haha! ambizyon to the max na!)

beginning waist: 39.5"
target waist: 27.5" (isa pang ambizyon! hahaha!)

beginning hips: 44"
target hips: 36"

the plan: increase output, decrease input!!! (i.e. consume less than 2000calories/day and cardio (jog!) 4x a week)

my only fave cardio: jog and walk!!! i've considered going to the gym but an enclosed space really is not for me... and iv lost 30lbs back in 2008 because of this, and some more instances before before... so since im sure that this will work for me, i will definitely be sticking with it now... less cost, more fresh air(and people watching)... total workout!

herbalife formula 1. only because i've tried this last year already (before i found out i was pregnant), i lost a few pounds even without exercise...and only because iv seen my sis went from preggy fat to slim again because of this... hehehe it's a bit expensive though, but will just be using during my 90-day challenge. i replace my breakfasts and dinners with this and only eat during lunch (anything but without rice!!!)... so far im on the right track except for dinners, aside from taking this i think im making a cheat by eating a few ulam (mostly fish and veggies) just to have dinner with the family... :D

and this! yeap! Del Monte's Fit and Right! (no they do not sponsor this blog... but *hint hint* hehehe)... this helped me lose the 30lbs in 3months back in 2008... read online that 500grams of L-carnitine is helpful when trying to lose weight, they help you burn your fats instead of muscles during workouts... been taking 2 bottles a day before, but now will just be taking 1, as my afternoon snack and in prep for the jog after work.

and then this one... an Alkaline ionizer... i have not read anything about alkalines yet and their effect on weight loss (if there's any), but since my mom gave me this for christmas and had been telling me that this can help remove that bilbil, might as well include this in my tools for the 90day challenge... if it works or not i won't be able to tell anymore hehehe, but then it wouldn't hurt to try, malay nga natin effective nga!!!
